This is the perfect first telescope for my son who loves space and science. It offers high resolution images at night when my son is looking at the moon, stars or planets. The lens has a focal length of 400mm and an aperture of 70mm, which is enough for staring at the sky. This telescope comes with a finderscope to help you find the specific objects you are aiming at. This telescope comes with a fully adjustable tripod so I can adjust the height for both adults and children. It fully expands to over 4 feet. It was very easy for me to set up this telescope. I didn't even need any tools which was great. My favorite feature of this telescope is that it comes with a cell phone adapter. This allows you to connect your phone to capture HD images of whatever you see through the telescope. This telescope also comes with a carrying case so we can take it with us on a hike where we can spot wildlife during the day. At night we have the best view of the stars with no noise when we camp.
