Review on 🔘 EBC Brakes FA185R Disc Brake Pad Set, Black, Universal Fit by Jeff Sorensen

These were purchased for my 2017 Honda CRF450R. I usually buy OEM Honda pads but I needed a kit pretty quickly so I decided to give these a try. Upon installation, I immediately noticed a very soft feel when depressing the front brake lever. After a few laps I stopped and bled the brakes to correct the spongy feel. It didn't help much. I rode the rest of the day when the pads wore out they started to squeak. In addition, the pads rubbed so hard on the rotor that the wheel could not rotate freely, which could lead to overheating problems. Needless to say I am very disappointed with the EBC pads. I bought and installed original Honda pads. Lever feel is solid, the front wheel spins freely with no resistance. In addition, the original pads are ribbed for quick water drainage.
