I got this replacement remote and got tired of it straight away. I am very happy with it as it works much better than the one it replaced. It is not a problem to use it because it is already programmed. Just insert batteries and watch TV. In my opinion, the old one had a very bad design. The volume up and down buttons, as well as the mute button, were on the side of the remote control. When picking it up, I accidentally hit one of them, which either raised or lowered the audio or turned it off. When the sound was off, some other buttons didn't work. My replacement has all the buttons on the top and they all work fine. The only downside I see is that I have no idea what the three asterisked buttons below do. However, I live in this style and am very glad I ordered it.
