These are supportive and very comfortable for my daughter who has flat feet. The arch is made of plastic so it gives her a lift there. We sized her shoes up a full size to use these. I think sizing up a half size will be enough. My daughter just likes extra wiggle room for her toes. Overall, the insoles are very well-made and contain plastic, gel, and foam parts. and durable for the most part.If there was anything to complain about, it would be the fabric on the foam. It is starting to curl up at the edges and we haven't had ours for that long. The curling fabric doesn't affect the insole's performance or durability, but it does make them look old prematurely.
