My powder room had metal screws which were great until I installed a bidet and needed longer screws to hold the seat. Those plastic screws worked great. Space under my toilet is a bit cramped so the handy puff knobs were almost too close to turn, but it worked in the end. They look amazing and they are LONG ENOUGH!
