Review on Enhance Your Diagnostic Experience with OBDLink MX+ OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner for iPhone, Android, and Windows by Kevin Gray

Waste of money

I bought this to program my 2019 F150 with forscan. The recommended ELM327 adapter for Forscan programming is the adapter with USB cable and switch. The cables are from the 1990s, so I bought the Bluetooth model MX+. Suction cup. I can connect it to my iPhone 10 but with difficulty. Before I get a chance to read the OBDLink reports, it disconnects, reconnects, and reads the other vehicle's data. If you just want to clear codes, this should work. Once I connected it to forscan on my laptop. It found all the modules, but then it lost the connection and I was never able to reconnect. So I have an $80 piece of plastic that sometimes connects to my iPhone and not to my laptop at all. I would have sent it back for a refund but threw away the box. It's possible that Citi will cancel the purchase after I dispute the charge on the grounds that the product doesn't work. Yes I will call the company and give them an opportunity to return the money. I will buy the above ELM327 with USB cable and switch. Oh yeah, it's only $30. Yes, I feel like a real jerk. ATTENTION MX+. Follow-up: I contacted the company via email. They were very attentive and accommodating. They fully appreciated my disappointment and emailed me a return label and credited my purchase. I have already bought the OHP ELMconfig Forscan OBD2 adapter with MS-Can and HS-Can switch, which connects via USB cable. That works great. I've made a few changes to my truck and can now do more and also read diagnostics. I don't know if the MX+ I received was defective or if there might be other Bluetooth interference. Everything ended well. Responsible company and owner. Many Thanks. amazon.support@obdlink.com
