One broke on first use

These beautiful and colorful hooks. The cords are very long, so they are suitable for any crochet work. But the 5mm size broke 20 lines in my project. Maybe I knit too tight, but the purpose of such a needle is to have a lot of loops. I still have a 5mm hook in my kit. I don't know why there were 2 the same size. Finally, I pulled the cord out and my husband sharpened the end of one of my metal hooks to fit the cord. Works great now. Too bad they don't make metal hooks with cords attached.
