I bought this ruler to make DIY items from YouTube videos from other countries that use centimeters. When converting from cm to imperial units, I found that the conversion was difficult to express as a fraction and was not as accurate as I would like. This tool feels strong and durable, and the tape maintains its stiffness over a long distance, especially when trying to measure individual items and/or hard-to-reach spots. The imperial units/cm numbers are written in one direction which is an advantage and makes the instrument very easy to read/use without having to switch left to right to measure. I like the anti-reflective coating and the background color is white with black and red writing. I am very happy with this purchase. It also has a lifetime guarantee which I will use if it fails.
