Inconvenient to use long duration due to the cushion between the toes

I believe the idea of having a gel cushion between the big toe and the second toe is to help correct the biomechanics of the joint preventing it from deviating. As a physical therapist, I found then idea exciting and ordered the product to help with my bunion issue. However, in actual usage I found this to be an inconvenience and would hurt me during walking. The gel material needs to be much softer to a.void any such discomfort. I still use it but in and around the house and not outside. I have found better relief for outside ambulation from other similar product without the thick gel cushion between the toes
