A few years ago we threw away the paper shredder. We had a diary with old vital records that had to be destroyed. Now it's done. The car was easy to clean and lubricate. But the teeth in this one are also stronger and sharper. Its feeding slot feels intuitive in design, so it takes less effort to feed than the old one we had. Before you pull out the funnel, you can move the grinder forward a little to clean its teeth. This will prevent loose parts from falling when the bin is removed. Pulling out the bin also cuts power to the motor, which is a very nice safety feature that could solve the distraction problem in the future.
