This is not the size I thought it was (the reason for three stars) so am disappointed as far as that goes. It is very fine, feels more like a thread, not stretchy. I did the wraps per inch WPI to figure out the size. It is 18.5. wpi. It is close to a fingering weight or smaller. It is about 1/2 the weight that you usually use to make dishcloths. Nice if that is what you are looking for. The color I bought is Soft Red. Looking at the photo I was hoping for a dusty rose. It is slightly darker. Like a dk rose, definitely not red. So I would be fine with the color. Maybe I'll try using two threads to get closer to a sport weight. The photo shows me holding it next to a dishcloth yarn. I'm using it double thread and it is coming out close to my gauge for sports yarn, still on the slight side of weight though. Enjoy, Sue
