This is one of those items to buy if you have a mini pro. A small cut will cause the Segway to fall when it's off, and I don't want it leaning over the wall as it could end up scratching the pole's (joystick?) foam knee. So I went ahead and bought it the next day. I don't know why Segway didn't include this in the product itself. Get this if you have a mini pro though. As other reviewers have mentioned, you may want to get a lock nut to secure the bolt as it can wobble. This is less than a $2 purchase. You can buy it at any hardware store. Lock nut size M5. Have fun driving!
