Connect additional outlets for noise reduction

This single outlet pump is quiet and powerful enough to get my airstones bubbling like crazy. Let's see if it gets worse next week, if so. Coming back I also read that people are covering other outlets on the big pumps, don't do that, just tie the extras together and use them for the sponge or stones you already have connected. Closing the outlets creates more noise because it creates more back pressure in the pumping station, resulting in louder noise and vibration.
