Used for approximately 2 weeks before I noticed the rust. I live in a semi-arid climate, averages 15-20% humidity maximum, never washed it and it sat with a clean bag in the garage between uses. There was no reason for rust except poor quality! I purchased because it was metal, thought it would hold up and work better.IT DIDN'T! Rake could barely move poop to the bin in the grass.the bags wouldn't stay in bin correctly (no matter how I installed them) and take handle wouldn't screw completely into rake.I AM STILL WAITING FOR FOR MY REFUND 6 WKS LATER!
