Review on High Performance K&N Motorcycle Oil Filter KN-153 for Synthetic or Conventional Oils - Designed for Ducati Motorcycles (Black) by Danny Badasz

I am a car dealer and bought one of these for my personal 08 Ducati 1098 and everything seemed fine until after less than 100 miles the filter removed the threads from the nipple on the engine and it all drained the engine oil during the ride through the entire bike. Upon closer inspection, the filter only caught 1 thread and actually pulled that single thread off the bike! When I contacted K&N about a warranty as this is an obvious manufacturing defect and a known problem, they refused to guarantee the bike would be broken or damaged and didn't answer my calls! K&N even admitted that it only uses 1 thread! Shame on you K&N! My clients and I will NEVER spend money on K&N again. Completely unacceptable! You are literally risking your life using these filters and you need an attorney if they don't work as there is nothing K&N will do for you.
