One side of the clamp broke in half when I was tightening it. The whole thing sways back and forth, a kind of flexible plastic. I ended up replacing the ball mount and link arm clamp with aluminum spares and now I run much better with almost no flex or bounce. If you don't mind your device shaking when you touch it, then it will work for you, but I've learned from experience that all of these holders (especially the plastic ones) only use one point to connect the device holder with connection fittings tend to rock back and forth unless secured or pressed against something solid (wall or countertop) for stability. Does the job, just don't overdo it.
