Review on Sony DMJ95 True Portable Player by Ashton Dahmer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mediocre low end turntable

I bought this turntable after its cousin WAS a great turntable. The anti-shock is great but the sound quality is average and the only type of tone control is the bass level control which is ok, only controls bass which isn't much. The player has anti-shock, but it tends to stop sometimes for no reason unless discs are scratched. The BIGGEST problem that all Sony models have are the jack headphones. The original disc player that worked fine for me until the connector stopped working. I opened the player and didn't find anything wrong with it, so I couldn't fix it. It's unfortunate that EXACTLY the same thing happened to this player. I assume this is an issue with this particular line of Sony players. Maybe it was because I kept my player in my pocket all the time, there were a lot of injuries and the boy couldn't handle it. It's really a shame.
