Poorly designed kettle. Love the color of the temp gauge and the brewing filter, have been using it every day since we bought it 4 months ago. the cauldron is his snare. It is made of PLASTIC as you can see in the picture. Having a plastic loop for a kettle is such a bad design. Maybe they were trying to cut corners, but that really makes this kettle a poor choice if you intend to use it every day. The lid of my kettle stopped working after 2 months. Eventually, at 4 months, it detached from the hinge. This gives an idea of the lifespan of the kettle. By the way, this lid issue is a big problem reported by several users, so it's not isolated and definitely ignored by the company, which is stupid. I've been using a different brand of stainless steel kettle for over 2 years which unfortunately doesn't have a brew filter but still works well. We use both kettles every day and can directly confirm the difference in quality of both items. I would not recommend this kettle to anyone.
