Defective push button COVER

I bought this kettle in mid-January 2019. Looked great and worked great, but the lid was always difficult to open. A few days ago we could no longer open the lid. The plastic was so weak that it wasn't even used for 3 months. I absolutely do not recommend it.

Attractive display on the counter, blue and red light

The lid does not open automatically when you press the silver lid release button. I have to pry off the lid with a knife every time I need to refill it. Very annoying. Positive thoughts: very attractive lights; good figure; Heat water quickly. stylish look. But the convertible top does not open by itself.

Potential Fire Hazard

Flawful and Dangerous: Will not shut down at elevated temperatures. Water will continue to boil at 195 and above. Water evaporates creating a possible fire hazard. As this is the SECOND Chefman product we have and both have major issues I would not recommend the Chefman kettle. Hope that helps.

Works great but no keep warm function

This item heats up quickly. The tea basket is superior to other models I have used as it extends below the teapot. I would prefer if you let the water sit at a constant temperature after heating. This kettle turns off completely after boiling, so you can't heat the kettle. Otherwise a good article.

Only worked a month.

A month later the kettle stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer who continues to reassure me, but I never saw the promised replacement. They waited about a month. Also, this thing beeped when you put it on the stand, when you started it, and when you took it off. Very annoying. I'd rather have my money back. I got a replacement and now he's dead too. This is NOT what you want.

DON'T LOSE YOUR MONEY

Overall this is a terrible product. Do not buy. It only rusts after two uses and since others have made this comment I can only assume that the company is not bothered to fix this issue. I give him 1 star. As other reviewers have said, it doesn't open fully, making the tea more difficult to clean and brew than it really should be. Fair warning, choose a different product from a different company. Yes, it heats well and has nice lights. that's all.

The kettle didn't work :(

Bought this item after researching the brand myself. This item doesn't have any reviews yet as it was a new product and I decided to take a risk. , did doesn't help me The kettle arrived quickly and well packaged I read the manual before trying to do anything .I thought it *might* be an outlet (though unlikely as the LEDs were on) so gave it a go I unplugged 4 other outlets at home before giving up completely.

Attractive kettle with a big flaw

Poorly designed kettle. Love the color of the temp gauge and the brewing filter, have been using it every day since we bought it 4 months ago. the cauldron is his snare.
