I really like the concept. We have two 15 pound Norwich Terriers. Being closer to us in the back seat than in a box far behind my wife's Jeep seemed like a good idea. I was also able to use it in the back of my baby car where I couldn't fit the crate in the car before. Everything started well. good concept. Very easy to install. And the dogs were not thrown as often as in a cage. The question I have is the durability of the carrier. After about 10 months of use, maybe 1-2 times a month, visit to the vet or groomer, it showed more wear resistance. From a not so often used product that housed two small dogs. Now, 20 months later, it's ready to be thrown in the bin. In the bottom grid is a huge integer. The flash area in the center breaks up. Too bad the quality is so bad it starts to fall apart in less than a year. It works great new, it only falls apart when rarely used. I'll have to find another, better one, or maybe make it myself.
