It would appear that the disk, which was purchased toward the close of the previous year in preparation for the building of a new personal computer, has already begun to take pleasure in one's life. However, after that, strange things started to happen. The downloaded video on this disk broke up into pixels, and the photos on the disk became unusable (white, black, and gray stripes appeared on the photos). It seemed as though some of the information contained in the file had been removed, but the file was still being read. I looked over photos from the new year after the shooting, and everything appeared to be in order. I just recently opened these photos, and one of the ones that was viewed at the opening shows a photo that was not taken at all, but rather something else. When you access a disk, there are instances when you have to wait quite a bit, and if you haven't accessed it before, even opening folders in certain locations can cause it to stop for a while (not Windows, and not a system disk) while reading files. In general, I am writing a review just in case, in the hopes that it will be of use to someone who has experienced it.
