This is a ¼ inch straight cutter. The bit is ¼" in diameter and has a ¼" shank. Has 2 flutes. The cutting edges are made of tungsten carbide. The bit comes in a plastic case with an additional blade cover. I love how this bit cuts my hand router. It is very sharp and produces little noise as it cuts cleanly. The beat seems very solid. Overall, this is a good choice for a straight cutter.
