This is a ¼ inch straight cutter. The bit is ¼" in diameter and has a ¼" shank. Has 2 flutes. The cutting edges are made of tungsten carbide. The bit comes in a plastic case with an additional blade cover. I love how this bit cuts my hand router. It is very sharp and produces little noise as it cuts cleanly. The beat seems very solid. Overall, this is a good choice for a straight cutter.

This looks like a quality end mill for my CNC router. Bought to have spare parts. It's made of carbide, which is exactly what you'd expect from an end mill due to its strength. I think the price is on the lower end of average for this type of bit. The cutting edges appear to be very sharp. I also appreciate that it comes in a standard end mill body which protects the bit and also goes well with my other bits in the body.

I'm no router expert but this is a decent quality router. I have some really cheap ones and this one is pretty cheap in my opinion. Given that all of my bits come in reasonably priced sets, this might be the highest quality bit I own. So I'm not sure if it's any better than my other beats. Cut quickly and smoothly and works exactly as expected. I can't say anything about durability as I only drove it through some kind of scrap wood to test it. But I'm happy with it, it's functional, well…
