Compared to the old whale lenses, this one has gone far ahead. Good sharpness throughout the frame, the front part does not spin, so you can put polarizing and gradient filters, and in general it is quite well made, nothing backlash or creaks. You need to understand that the scope of this lens is rather limited - landscapes, interiors can be shot, portraits in a studio with pulsed light, maybe not very small macro - this can be shot very high quality. It is not suitable for indoor and night reporting, sports, birds, portraits with a blurry background, just handheld night shooting.
