They offer good AirTag protection; however...

... Be aware that putting on the AirTag is really tedious as the opening is too small and in other words you will have difficulty putting it on too hard for your Hand Arthritis Sufferers! In addition, the cover slightly affects the noise level of the AirTag when using the Apple FindMe application. Don't expect to hear it beyond a portion. Use the FindMe card to overcome this.
