It stinks of that "Made in China" chemical smell. I don't know where it was made, but many things from China smell just as strongly of chemicals when opened. This smell goes away after a few hours but after wearing them a few times they reek like super smelly feet and washing only helps once. After that, they become too smelly to carry anywhere unless you like to smell.
