Ok guys this is my honest review. I am naturally ginger. I have an ombre effect from dark hair roots to light caramel gold. My hair will turn any dye into my red no matter what, this is my hair pigment that I've appropriated after all these years. A friend advised me not to damage my hair by bleaching it after it turns red-orange again, but to use blue shampoo on the bleached areas instead. So I searched the internet for a good blue shampoo and came across this product. It took some experimentation and advice from Pinterest and Utube to get my hair the way I wanted it. First I did what the directions on the bottle said, left it on wet hair for 5 minutes. It was of no use. So the next time I used it on dry hair for 30 minutes (like coloring it) and it worked a little, I saw a difference. But it wasn't how I wanted it. So I decided to take a risk and next time I dried it again but this time I let it sit for 1.5 hours! Yes I did and I'm glad because it completely got rid of the nasty red orange and even looked like dark platinum and it was just amazing! I'm so glad I bought this and it smells great and works wonders. Yes, my hands were a little bruised, but with all that damn handwashing, it went away quickly. But any blue shampoo does. Bottom line, it works, it does what it's supposed to, it's amazing. If your hair is all orange like mine, leave it on longer, it won't damage or dry my hair like some reviews say (I also used conditioner afterwards), for me it was amazing!
