I love Clover replacement needles. I'm going to buy another 24" cord so I don't have to keep moving things around. I've been making a lot of hats and hoodies lately, so that's my usual size. Note: 24" means length including pins, attached, and it is not the length of the cable. I agree with others that you need to tighten the needles regularly, but I'm used to it. And, FYI, there are stoppers. although I haven't decided to take them yet.
