I used to use those felt-lined sticks you buy in bulk at Walmart. But they never lasted long and I kept finding them on the floor. FINALLY a durable product! The Ruby sliders are very stretchy and sit very comfortably on my kitchen chairs. Installation was easy. In fact, I found the whole process very satisfying. The way they stretch and almost compress wraps the legs. These puppies will NEVER fall! Also, these chairs used to make such loud noises when I moved them. Now they are silent! I don't have to worry about floor scratches, I don't have to worry about finding worn felt pads on the floor, and I don't have to worry about noise. Ruby sliders are worth the investment because they will save me a ton of money in the long run. I can't wait to order more for every other piece of furniture in my house. Oh, and I forgot to mention that they're transparent, so you really can't see them. They're not an eyesore like some others I've researched. These are the best!
