Perfect fit. Just like OEM. The leash is long enough to get it out of the way and out of sight, but not too long to be tied in too many places. It's better than making your own connection. It works like a champ. At first I was concerned because my brake controller didn't light up when plugged in, but my controller only lights up when a trailer is connected. This is required for those who have followers over 3k#s. I definitely recommend it. I wouldn't recommend trying to make your own pendant.
