Review on πŸ”§ Husky Precision Screwdriver Set - Bundle of 2 - Phillips/Slotted and Torx by Matthew Bahri

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Why change something good?

They work well, but why change the original design? Classic Husky screwdrivers and Torx screwdriver sets were perfect. Additional bits can easily be stored in the handles. The form factor and durability of the grips proved to be very high quality. They are significantly cheaper. The rubber (?) covered knobs are slippery to the touch, and since they're now round instead of hex like they used to be, it's very difficult to get good torque to loosen stuck fasteners. The handles are still used to store extra bits, but instead of the original three-hole design, there is now just one hole that accepts all three bits. But there's barely enough room, and once the bits are stored, they're very difficult to remove. It's a shame that there used to be great little drivers. If you have an old set, rejoice and keep it. These new ones are a disappointment
