Review on Moroso 47160 Front Drag Spring by Michael Hogate

After checking with Moroso prior to purchase, the technician assured that it was correct for a '66 stang 289 front weight of 1700. After installation, the front was 5 inches higher than the tire. Called the tech and told me to cut off 1/2 the spool. Hasn't changed at all. Cut more. The same thing. I left the other spring in place and it carried all the weight. I discovered this when I cut THAT spring to the other one and lo and behold the fender sat on the wheel. I called the tech after the first cut and THEN they said it was the wrong spring for the weight. It was the lightest of the three springs listed on YOUR vehicle selection chart. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Your customer service sucks.
