The "Service Engine" light on my daughter's car dashboard came on. She drives a 2013 Chevy Cruze LT 1.4L. I put my OBD2 device on it. My code is P0496. I bought this product and replaced it myself. It's VERY easy to replace. I am a woman who is not afraid to fix everything myself first. I posted the code on YouTube. There was a very simple guide on how to replace it. Am. clap. Boom. did. I then used my OBD2 device to turn off the service engine light. Since then everything is fine. If that part didn't actually fix the problem, or if there was some other issue with that code, the Service Core light would have come back on by now. It's not like this. do yourself a favor If you get a P0496 DTC (and you can contact AutoZone or Advance Auto to diagnose it for free if you don't have an OBD2 device), buy this part and replace it yourself, which will save you some serious cash.
