Review on 🐠 Efficient & Automatic JBJ Water Level Controller for Aquarium Maintenance by Michelle Linares

Revainrating 3 out of 5

it's not bad, but for aquarium water treatments

Not bad for the price but. this is my second. The first was DOA. I have tgis one to replace doa one. Spring. One night I got a call from town. My roommate told me my swamp was out of water and my pumps were going crazy! After asking my roommate to add RO as suggested. The next day I went home. I think ATO has a pump shutoff feature. It was very hot for a few days and the ATO was turning on and off several times a day I believe. At some point it got stuck. Luminaires that contain everything. My switch said it would turn on the pump and deliver water, but instead the ATO cut power to my pump entirely. I got home and all the lights were on! First I checked the pump. Plug it into an available outlet and it works. Next I check my float. Separated, washed, everything is fine. Turned it back on and dived back into the water. That's when I noticed that the ATO displays didn't change. I connected a second float switch. Same problem. I then disabled the ATO system for about 30 seconds. That's what "corrects". The damn thing kinda latched but cut power to my pump and then froze until I unplugged it. SMH that should make life easier. It's been running for 2 weeks now with no problems, but I've already bought the Neptune Apex. So now he will fulfill the tasks of the ATO.

Pros
  • everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
