Power multiple devices with one power supply, perfect pairing for Arduino + sensors

Was hired as a supplier but quickly found myself helping our engineers with various projects. Required to create a custom R&D/PLC/HMI/BMS workstation. I used a 24V/20A power supply and these buck converters to step down the voltage on multiple rails (DIN rail/terminal blocks) so I have what I need no matter what devices I need to pair/program . (24V for EASYIO FG32+ (BMS) and SPS is the only thing that isn't on one of the tanks - everything else runs on a separate rail powered by one of the tanks. 12V LED switches and lamps, 10V for signal heads/ Potentiometer to simulate pressure ./temp and power a couple of Arduinos with shields (including some RS485 MODBUS connections), a 5V bus for my network switch/comms gear. I can't tell how " loud" they are or how efficient they really are, but I, I can say that everything I've used has held up while swapping out components to test the sensors and logic. I've never had power outages and my MODBUS RS485 communications haven't dropped due to noise/interference The trimmers have been set to the voltage I need (also buying some mini LED voltage indicators so I can see what the actual output is - tested with my FLUKE mm - all accurate and stable). uses almost all of them on this board. and other projects so I buy more to have on hand just in case.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some issues
