This pot is sturdy and feels solid but for a stick pot/Dutch oven, but isn’t too heavy. It’s a good thickness so you get the benefit of good heat retention and heat distribution but not as thick as my other Dutch oven making a lot easier for me to use and cook with. I made pasta first and it’s a great size for a whole box of fusilli. The strainer lid was very useful. Although I choose to dump it in a strainer in the end because it’s faster and I was worried the glass lid would fall out at the end when I had to tilt the pot the most. Having a steamer rack perfectly fitted and ladle a to go with this pot was a really nice addition. I will try those next. I find it amazing that this is dishwasher safe, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it yet. I like the pot and am afraid about the dish rack scraping the pot. It’s such a pretty blue! Safe to say that I like this pot and has become my go to.
