questionable thermostat on aquarium heaters and coolers
I bought this for my large goldfish tank for the winter as the room the aquarium is in can be very cold and does not heat well. I figured I could leave it on the lowest setting of 68 degrees Fahrenheit and they'd be fine. HOWEVER, I have two thermometers in the tank and noticed that the temp reading on the heater was at least 5 degrees LOWER than my thermometers. I didn't want my goldfish tank to overheat and removed it immediately as the tank was well over 75 at one point. It might be fine for tropical fish, but I need something concrete for my Shubunkins. Especially for the price.
