Overall I like the timer. Great idea for those of us who live and die because of our press. The timer feels a bit cheap in the sense that you don't get that tight or harsh quality feel when you turn the knob. I measured the time with the iPhone timer and all three settings matched. I didn't test the magnet, but I used industrial grade Velcro to attach it to a hard wall surface next to the grinder. Let's see how long the product lasts with daily use.
