Review on TV tuner LUMAX DV-4205HD black by Hanh Bach ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The quality is fine, it's fine to use.

Lumax support does not react to calls or emails. The LUMAX DV-4205HD TV tuner is an item that, in my opinion, serves no purpose and is not one that can be recommended for purchase. Has pros: The configuration is straightforward; after turning it on for the first time, you will be invited to locate terrestrial, cable, or digital channels, and you will have the option to look for open as well as encrypted channels. Mains power has been successfully thought out with the use of a charger that has USB. You can watch videos on many YouTube channels. There is an application that can be downloaded from the website, or one may get it instantly by turning on their wireless network connection. In light of the fact that the tuner generates noticeable heat, the fact that the case is made of metal creates extra heat transfer, which can be considered a benefit. The fact that the receiver has a remote wi-fi antenna installed is both a benefit and a drawback. You are unable to connect an Internet adapter for wired Internet or install a high-gain antenna because the receiver already has one installed. Cons: The fact that I can watch "Lumax Cinema," an invention that was declared by the maker to be available for free viewing on original receivers, was the primary factor in my decision to purchase the product. "Lumax cinema" does not function, and all that is displayed on the screen is an icon for downloading content. Additionally, RTRS-INFO channels and the built-in list of IPTV channels are inoperable. There are a few MEGOGO films that can be downloaded for viewing, however the majority of the films on the receiving list are paid films, and they cannot be downloaded. One of the drawbacks of using this receiver is that you are unable to download your own iptv channel list by using links; instead, you must use a m3u file. Additionally, in order to access the channel list, you will need to re-download a m3u file onto a usb flash drive that contains updated links.
