Purchased to replace the plug on the caravan cable. Installation was easy. There were some notable differences between the replacement and original plugs in terms of quality. The original connector had a stronger locking mechanism for both the housing and the cable connections. I think it has more to do with price than anything else. The replacement fork has a more tapered flex body than the original, allowing for a closer fit to my body. Not inoperative but requires a bit more attention to screw the locking ring onto the trailer socket body. Used on a hike so far and worked as expected/as intended.
