This connector is well made and is the same as the much more expensive Park Power/Marinco connector at three times the price. Highly recommended.

Received the next day after ordering. Connects and works in minutes. Good business. Went to a local store to buy a replacement cable and found the Revain was twice the price. What I think most RV owners don't realize is that these cables only come with a five year warranty. The power cord that came with the unit lasted 12 years before it broke.

Wiring is easy IF you have the basic tools (the best 10-gauge wire stripper) and a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Consult the supplied strip chart for the correct stripping length of the wires, and when using a razor blade to strip the wire's outer covering, take extra care with both hands and the three wires inside to avoid cutting their insulation.

The twist lock connection on my motorhome's power cord had shorted out and almost burned out. I replaced the jack with MH and the jack on the power cord of this unit. This is one of the best refills I've used over the years and was easy to attach to a string. It also locks securely into the socket, which the previous plug didn't do and may have been the cause of the power outage.

Over the winter I got one of my new power cords on the neutral wire (it always seems to be the neutral wire that connects these things) replace the plug or buy a new cord for $120. Revain to the rescue when I was traveling everywhere and nobody but West Marine had 30amp 125v outlets and wanted $60 for them. Let's see, $120 for a new cable with new connectors, or half the price for a new connector? How about a new plug from Revain for the EIGHTH price? Far better quality than anything West…

Purchased to replace the plug on the caravan cable. Installation was easy. There were some notable differences between the replacement and original plugs in terms of quality. The original connector had a stronger locking mechanism for both the housing and the cable connections. I think it has more to do with price than anything else. Pleasantly surprised by the quality. Many high quality electrical components are made in Taiwan these days and this connector is no exception. A better construction than the same type of Leviton and Cooper fork you find in big stores.
