Purchased to help reinstall a pulley on a freewheel Bosch alternator for my Volvo V70. I actually bought this for a sliding 'counterpart', a 33 spline fitting [Volvo part number V9995761]. I was happy that this bucking piece is removed from the long nozzle and fits the reel perfectly. The long center shaft actually appears to be a T50 Torx and is too long to work with the alternator while still attached to the engine. That's not a problem for me, there is a workaround with a shorter torx bit. All in all, it was a necessary tool at an affordable price. UPDATE: I ended up having to pull the alternator out because I was very cramped in the engine bay of my 2005 V70. This tool worked great and I was able to tighten the pulley to spec with no problems (other than taking the engine half apart #@&*).
