I had to remove 24 locking nuts from an old truck getting it back on the road. It took a while but I unscrewed all 24 single head nuts. Thereafter, the nest showed no obvious wear. To remove the nuts, I placed the bushing on the extension, using a brass hammer with moderate blows, drove the bushing onto the lug nut, removed the extension, and then with a half hitch removed the nut. The tricky part was removing the bushing from the nut. Hold the jam nut and reverse the punch in the opposite direction. If you have a large vise to hold the nut, you should be fine. I used a few vices that slowed me down but worked in the end. These sockets are a high quality product and great value for money.
