It's better than nothing. Overall it's a bit thinner than I would like, but I decided to try this rug anyway. The wearing comfort is OK, so is the pain relief. The size is great for my space and as far as cleaning goes, it's decent. The texture helps catch most of the liquid but also prevents it from being absorbed. Personally I prefer a thicker mat with less or slightly different texture. In general, I do not regret the purchase, but in the future I will look for something closer to mine.
