This rack has a lot to offer. I bought a 4POSTRACK12U product (these reviews cover a lot of Startech racks). It was packaged very well for shipping, each item was wrapped in bubble wrap. Despite the fact that the box was quite heavy, everything came in pristine condition (my first pleasant surprise). I have bought many shelves and then wondered how the manufacturer could charge so much for a folded sheet. Many of them are overpriced and very cheaply made. This shelf is well made and well designed. He very quickly gathered a person. Depth warning: The specifications state that the (minimum) dimensions are 23.62 (D) x 25.1 (H) x 26.06 (W). While this exactly matches the actual rack frame, it does not include the mounting feet on the bottom of the rack that are built into the rack. With mounting feet, the rack is 27.5 inches deep, which is far too deep to fit in the AV cabinet I'm using. If the specs were correct or the legs were detachable, this wouldn't be an issue. Wish list: It would be great if the steering knuckles had holes for cage nuts on the sides, front and back. There are some great screw side shelving options that cannot be used with this shelving unit. I'm not suggesting that the rack nut holes are front/back only, the product photos were enough to guess that detail. All in all, if it fits your application mechanically, this is a great rack at a great price. .
