During the day my window looks like a colorless textured frosted glass with rainbow splashes in some of the smooth parts. Natural and classy and not at all like colored stained glass (that was my initial concern when I looked at the cover photo). The product photo on the cover was probably taken indoors when it was dark outside. .Installation was easy and fairly quick. However, in the evening I found a few coin-sized air bubbles that were not visible in daylight. Now they're pretty hard to get rid of with a mop. In the beginning it might have been easier to handle. Due to the texture and pattern of the foil, these bubbles are only visible upon close inspection, which makes the purchase doubly pleasant: you don't want to redo all the work. Hopefully those bubbles don't affect durability; if anyone has experience with this problem please let me know. Offers about the same level of privacy as white opaque curtains. Sufficient for our purposes.
