Review on πŸš— Enhancing Engine Performance with Standard Motor Products PC38T Crankshaft Position Sensor by Jonathan Yang

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The review is long, but if you work on your car yourself, you will appreciate it.

Was defective, had to be replaced. They put a new transmission in my truck and I was having trouble idling. I took out the crankshaft sensor that I had just replaced, thinking the transmission shop damaged it, but I couldn't find any damage to the part. I took my truck to the shop and the truck diagnostics didn't show any codes. After tracing the crank sensor on the computer and checking the signal, there was an apparent partial error. I replaced the part and my truck runs and runs fine. It may have been a defective part or the cause in the transmission shop, but I could not find any damage to the part.

Pros
  • Sensors
Cons
  • Slightly cracked
