94 Dodge 1500 Automatic 5.9L lost spark. Found a bad crankshaft sensor. Ordered one and installed it. The truck has spark and runs great.

I have used the Amazon tool to ensure it is the correct part. Looked similar, so I installed it. The car wasn't running well so I took it to the shop for them to look at. After about $700 they found that the part was rubbing against the flywheel instead of floating over it.

Was defective, had to be replaced. They put a new transmission in my truck and I was having trouble idling. I took out the crankshaft sensor that I had just replaced, thinking the transmission shop damaged it, but I couldn't find any damage to the part.
