While the quality of the hose appears to be good, the stainless steel braiding is poor to work with. This braid will wear horribly once the tape is removed by almost any method (steel bladed hydraulic wheel, fiber reinforced wheel, cable cutters, etc.). Get ready to practice and find the best way that works for you. I've found that using a zip tie after removing the tape is best to get the braid into the mating nuts. Much luck. Update: hoses are now leaking in the middle of the lines. First it started leaking on the return line, and a week later it started leaking on the pressure side. Basically it took about a year.
