Review on ☕️ Oceanstar - TB1323 Bamboo Tea Box: Organize and Display Your Tea Collection in Natural 12-Inch Box by Sarah Smith

I loved this Oceanstar bamboo tea box. The size of the storage compartments is ideal for 12-14 tea bags. But the box has a terrible smell! I let it air out for a few days before pouring tea into it. After 3 days I lost patience and loaded it with tea - it made the tea smell like toxic chemicals. I've had this box of tea for a few weeks now and the chemical smell is still there. I am very disappointed with this product and I doubt the safety of the materials used. Dishes shouldn't smell like this. There is a sticker on the bottom of the box next to "Oceanstar - Designed in the USA, Made in China". The sticker reads "CARB 93120 conforms to formaldehyde." No matter what finish, resin or glue is used on this wooden crate, it is absolutely inedible. Find another box of tea to buy.
